Book Review: A book about redefining success with intention!

Ready to redefine success with intention?

Issa Book Review!

Today I am sharing my thoughts on:

Thrive – The Third Metric to Redefining Success and Creating a Life of Well-Being, Wisdom, and Wonder by Arianna Huffington.

Overall this book focused on how putting yourself first if the first step to living the life of your dreams.

Here’s what I’ll cover in today’s video:

  • Why Thrive
  • A look into habits
  • Favorite sections

Here are some things that stood out to me:

First,

Thrive is a celebration of growth, awareness, and inner peace.

One of the things I love about this book is the depth of resources it includes.

I counted 40 – 50 different books, apps, and studies sprinkled throughout its 331 pages.

If you’re the type of person who is always looking for book recommendations, Thrive is full of them.

Second,

We’ve gone global, Sis!

Yep,

The whole world is raving about the power of taking care of yourself.

Arianna does a wonderful job, highlighting how the world is not only acknowledging the power of self-care but also encouraging its practice.

Of course, I am referring to the western world since the many Eastern countries been on this.

Third,

Practical applications.

Sometimes self-help books can fall flat when it comes to practicality.

Not this book.

Arianna explains the theory, science, and offers steps to start the work.

Which it’s very helpful to either a beginner or a more seasoned practician of self-mastery.

Thrive, it’s an excellent book for someone who wants an overview of what self-care looks like on a global scale.

You’ll walk away with tons of recommendations and research to help you decide where you want to go next.

Have you read Thrive? What did you think about it?

Hasta Luego!
