Over the past two years, I’ve dedicated myself to getting to the root of a lot of my unhealthy habits.

After reading almost 100 books, I’ve paid close attention to what doesn’t change.

One of the messages that have remained constant in over 80% of the books I’ve read is:

You have to be fully present.

For a while, I didn’t understand what that meant.

But I kept reading.

Eckhart Tolle and Don Miguel Ruiz are two of the authors who I think break it down in a way that I can understand.

Now,

I finally feel like I have a clear definition of “being fully present.”

I am not claiming it is right or better than anything you’ve read.

It is the definition that connects with me, and it might connect with you too!

In this video, I break down what it means to be fully present and how you can practice it in your life.

Being present has the power to help you break free of the constant chatter in your mind, and worry less about both the past & the future.

I’ve been battling transitional depression for 10 – 12 years.

I was in a constant flow of highs and lows. When I was on a high everything felt terrific, but when I was in a low, I could barely get out of bed.

I felt ungrateful because on the surface it looked like I had everything I needed to be happy. I lived in DC in a gorgeous apartment, with a fantastic husband and a job making the most money I had ever made.

How could I be depressed?

But,

I was hurting.

All that changed in 2018.

I understood why I was depressed and learned how to keep myself from being depressed so that I didn’t have to worry about managing my depression.

In today’s video, I’m sharing how I stopped struggling from depression and how I overcame feeling unstuck and unfulfilled. I’m opening up about my journey and giving you a taste of what to expect from me moving forward.

Here’s what we’ll cover:

  • Why people who are depressed do not ask for help;
  • How going to therapy helped me begin healing;
  • How you can keep yourself from being depressed, or feeling stuck & unfulfilled;
  • My decision to stop going to therapy and why the process felt incomplete, plus what I did instead.
